PROGRAM OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (Neurology Vocational Services)
Harborview Medical Center - Rehab Services
What you will do:
- Management of Neurology Vocational Services Unit:, assure ongoing
conformance to CARF standards and preparation for CARF, maintain
health and safety policies and procedures, assure conformance with
HMC, NVSU and CARF policies and procedures, conduct HR interviewing
and hiring of personnel, maintain Kronos time cards, scheduling of
strategic planning, safety and other required training. Maintain
contracts with DVR and DSB to maintain program revenue that meets
budget expectations. Interaction with Department of Rehabilitation
Administrator and Chair related to budgetary, contractual and
administrative goals.
- Management and oversight of services performed at NVSU that meet
HMC, NVSU, CRCC and CARF standards.
- Management of vocational services that require outside funding by
DVR/DSB.
- NVSU provides along with UW Rehab Counseling, the only vocational
programs in Seattle. Both hospital programs support the most
important aspect of patients' needs to work and lead a productive
life following an injury or medical event.
What you will need:
--- Five (5) or more years of previous experience in aspects of
rehabilitative medicine with demonstrable experience in preparation
for specific accreditation reviews unique to specialized
rehabilitation medicine units (CARF etc).
--- At least 5 years previous experience in management of
Rehabilitation Services or related department preferred.
--- Current State Licensure or certification.
