Apply today and see if we are the right fit for you. You will report to our Head doctor, Dr Snyman and Manager Cailtin. What You Will Do: Provide compassionate care to patients and clients. Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy. Effectively restrain pets. Understand all common vaccines and vaccination protocols and be able to explain to clients. Gives SQ, IM, and IV injections. Perform surgical and dental procedure and administer anesthesia. Know common disease states and alert clients when symptoms change or when concerns arise with hospitalized patients. Understand usage, dosage, and common side effects for commonly used prescription drugs and readily explain them to clients. Conduct oneself in a confident and professional manner even when stressed and/or focused on individual tasks. Maintain a positive, cooperative relationship with other employees. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or head veterinarian.
