Wound Care Specialist - PACE/ElderPlace Schedule: Mon-Fri, Day
Shift Job Description: The Wound Specialist is responsible for
providing evaluation, skilled services, consultation and education
for staff regarding wound care. Functions independently and/or in
conjunction with an interdisciplinary team based on the patient's
identified needs. Practice is within the scope defined by the
Washington State Discipline Practice Acts. Providence

Graduate of a certification program provided by Wound Ostomy
Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) OR Required
Coursework/Training Graduate of a certification program provided by
National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO) OR Required
Coursework/Training Graduate of a certification program provided by
American Board of Wound Management (ABWM).
- 1 year long term care or geriatric nursing.
- 1 year Working with the frail and elderly.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart
Association.
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License. Preferred

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within
Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving
nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a
variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state
footprint. HCC provides a full range of services and support for
people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or
