• Tuition discounts through Rasmussen UniversityLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Position Details:---- -- -- -- Type: Per Diem---- -- -- -- Location: Bellevue, WAResponsibilities:---- -- -- -- Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.---- -- -- -- Ensure adherence to Universal Precautions for resident and staff safety.---- -- -- -- Prepare residents' medications for short-term absences following state regulations.---- -- -- -- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement the nursing care plan for each patient.---- -- -- -- Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate.---- -- -- -- Observe signs and symptoms and report to the physician and RN, including reactions to treatments and changes in the patient's physical or emotional condition.---- -- -- -- Teach and counsel patients and their families/significant others on nursing care needs and related issues for home care.---- -- -- -- Participate in medical record audits as assigned.---- -- -- -- Attend staff meetings, patient care conferences, and in-services as scheduled.---- -- -- -- Read Daily Communication Logs for resident information.---- -- -- -- Document any changes in resident status in Progress Notes and review them regularly.---- -- -- -- Complete resident treatments as ordered and scheduled.---- -- -- -- Assist with personal care and physical support as needed.-- -- -- -- --Performs other duties as assigned.--Other Skills or Qualifications:---- -- -- -- Proficient computer skills in managing the electronic health record (EHR).---- -- -- -- Ability to manage information electronically and transfer records appropriately.---- -- -- -- Ability to work in an electronic environment.---- -- -- -- Refined deductive reasoning skills for problem-solving during shifts.---- -- -- -- Must have a valid driver's license or dependable access to a vehicle for business use.---- -- -- -- Must be in good health and physically/mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.---- -- -- -- Working knowledge of personal computing and word processing software, particularly-- Microsoft Windows.---- -- -- -- Completion of appropriate competencies as required by the facility.--Requirements:---- -- ---- Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a--Licensed Practical Nurse--(LPN) in WA state.---- -- -- -- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.---- -- -- -- Preferred minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.---- -- -- -- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.---- -- -- -- Ability to work well in a fast-paced SNF environment.---- -- -- -- Two (2) positive work references---- -- -- -- Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.--Who We Are:--Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare, Inc. is the nation's most experienced healthcare network.
