    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    The Digestive Health/ Hepatology/ Respiratory is now open at the UW Medical Center's Northwest Campus. Our newest clinic provides procedural and consultative services for digestive and liver disorders. Our team of UW Medicine physicians and advanced practice providers are experts in the care of patients with all gastrointestinal and liver disorders, such as inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), gastrointestinal motility and functional bowel disorders (irritable bowel syndrome or IBS), esophageal and swallowing disorders, and all liver diseases, including viral hepatitis.

    We provide comprehensive evaluations for common symptoms, such as abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, and diarrhea or constipation.

    In addition, we offer onsite endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
  • Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
  • Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
  • Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
  • Other Duties as Requested

    REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school graduation or equivalent AND
  • One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience
    OR
  • An equivalent combination of education/experience
