Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU /nLocation (Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid?): Seattle, WA (ONSITE) /nContract Duration: 13 weeks /nWorking Hours: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) /nTotal Weekly Hours: 36hrs/n/n /n/n /n/nAll previous perm employees of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license. /n /nTravelers usually do not admit babies, as the unit has a dedicated Admit Nurse in that role. Very rarely do they float to Peds because Peds floats to the NICU more often. But if they do float to Peds, they would only be given infants. /n /nMinimum experience required-2 years. /n /nTraveler must be open to floating to different campuses. /n /nLevel IV NICU /n23-24 weeks gestation /n /nNo ECMO, but all others /nCPAP/BiPap, High Frequency Vents, Oscillators, Vents /nBlood/Blood Products Administration /nCardioversion / Defibrillation /nCooling / Warming Blanket /nFeeding Tubes /nPICC/Central Lines /nSyringe Pumps /n /nAttends High Risk Deliveries /nNeonatal Surgeries /n /n1. Rare to float, due to high need for RNs in the NICU, but might float to Issaquah or /nEdmonds SCN, or Pediatrics/NBN (care for newborns only). /n2. Our FH NICU is 77 beds (avg. census 50) /n3.
