Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years critical care experience, 1 year GI Lab experience, Endoscopy experience License: Current WA license or Compact license Certifications: ACLS & BCLS required Must-Have: All previous permanent employees must have been separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. First-time travelers are accepted. Call is required for this position. The typical call includes 3-4 days per month and 1 weekend (Saturday/Sunday) every 8 weeks. Description: The role involves performing diagnostic colonoscopy procedures. There is a 20% inpatient and 80% outpatient workload. Special procedures include ERCP. The position requires standard pre and post care of patients seeking endoscopy services. The staffing ratio is 1 nurse to 2 patients. Candidates must comply with all onboarding requirements within the specified timeframe. Travelers must have reliable transportation.
