Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 1 Trauma Operating Room position requiring WA or Compact RN licensure and neuro experience. Responsibilities - Work in a 25-bed Operating Room at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital - Patient population includes trauma, orthopedic, spine, and neuro cases; no cardiac or transplant cases - Perform 60-70 cases with circulate skills required - Epic is used for charting and experience is required - Pyxis medication system is used - Day and night shifts available with rotating 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts including weekends - No on-call requirements - Float within hospital may be required - First-time travelers are accepted - Facility provides scrubs - Facility requires completion of pre-start modules and an Epic module during orientation - Holiday coverage required; travelers highly preferred to work Christmas - Restricted time off: no more than 6 days and only one major holiday, with specific blackout dates - Prior staff must be separated for at least 18 months before returning as travelers - Offsite weekday parking available with shuttle service Requirements - Active WA RN license or Compact RN license with WA application and possible suicide prevention training completed - Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience in a Level 1 Trauma and Neuro setting required; 3-4 years preferred - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Circulate skills required with experience in trauma environments - Epic charting experience required - COVID-19 vaccination and booster required - Must provide two references, with at least one being supervisory Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628429.
