Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Document patient treatment plans and progress in Dentrix software. Assist in orthodontic procedures and provide support in pediatric dentistry when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience. Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive care. Experience Registered Dental Hygienist currently licensed in the USA. Must have graduated from an ADA/CODA accredited institution. Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred. Eligible for full licensure in a Canadian province. Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable. Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as effective communication with diverse patient populations is essential. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
