Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/08/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT and X-ray experience and current ARRT (CT) and (R) certification for a night shift contract assignment. Responsibilities - Acute care hospital radiology department with CT and general X-ray services - 13-week contract assignment - Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - No floating required outside CT and X-ray areas - Average of 20 scans or studies per day - Procedures include general X-ray and CT (no cardiac CT or angiography) - Department equipped with GE imaging technology - EPIC and SECTRA used for EMR and PACS - Duties involve performing both routine CT and general X-ray studies, including occasional IV starts - The department is led by a clinical manager with no in-house radiologist present - On-site orientation is provided - Black scrubs are preferred - Holiday and weekend coverage may be required - Returning candidates must not have been directly employed by any affiliated facilities in the past year Requirements - Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including X-ray duties - Active ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required - Current and active state license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable) - BLS certification (AHA) required - Customer service skills are required - Ability to start IVs as needed - Experience with EPIC EMR preferred - Copy of driver's license required for consideration - Two recent professional references: one supervisor from the past 12 months, one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640816.
