Pay Information $2,502 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 1 year minimum License: Active compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience in interventional radiology and/or cath lab is helpful. Proficient in the Epic documentation system. Description: The RN will assist predominantly in CT and MRI. Responsibilities include helping with cardiac procedures, MRI-guided focused ultrasound, and sedation. Average daily census includes 4 coronary CTAs and 5 MRI procedures. Daily visits total approximately 10. The unit features 2 procedure rooms. Staffing ratio is 1:1. Key procedures include coronary CT, MRI-guided focused ultrasound, pacemaker programming, sedation monitoring, and IV support. Monitoring for contrast allergy is also part of the role. Special equipment includes pacemaker interrogation. Skills required encompass antiarrhythmics and antihypertensives administration, emergency medication management, and infection prevention. The RN will be involved in procedural sedation, IV maintenance, and care of implanted ports. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support services are available including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
