Job Description:
Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession:

of Labor and Delivery experience required License: Compact License
or single state license accepted Certifications: BLS and NRP
required, AWHONN Intermediate preferred Must-Have: Epic experience
is preferred Description: The position requires a minimum of 3
years of experience in Labor and Delivery. Candidates must possess
BLS and NRP certifications. AWHONN Intermediate certification is
preferred. The patient ratios will be 1:1. Weekend work is required
unless otherwise stated in the schedule. This unit is responsible
for the care of adult women of childbearing age. The facility
consists of 7 labor beds, 3 triage beds, 2 PACU beds, and 16
mother-baby rooms. Candidates will float within the hospital but
not to sister hospitals. RTO restrictions apply; a maximum of 1
week off is allowed, especially during the holidays. All travelers
must adhere to the facility's background check policy. Two
supervisory or charge references are required upon application.
Familiarity with Epic charting is essential for this role.
