Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Seattle, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,482 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiac Surgery RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: 1 year required, 2 years preferred License: WA RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Reliable transportation Ability to interpret laboratory results Skilled in obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG Capability in patient teaching Experience with MRSA swabs Knowledge of discharge planning Description: The role is for a pre-surgical visit nurse in a cardiac surgery clinic. The nurse will provide extensive patient education. Interpretation of clinical results is a key responsibility. Timely communication with both surgeons and schedulers is essential. Performance of EKGs and MRSA swabs will be part of the nurse visit. Discharge planning is also required. The patient population is primarily fragile and highly anxious about surgery and life post-operation. Candidates must have experience in cardiology and related patient diagnoses. This position does not require weekend or night shifts. Completion of onboarding items (background checks, etc.) must occur promptly upon acceptance. The clinician will not float within the facility to meet needs. Previous charge experience is preferred but not required. Experience with the EPIC charting system is a must. Proper communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for managing patient anxiety. The clinician must acknowledge commute time if local. Reliability and responsibility for scheduling need to be met. Housing and local cost of living awareness are essential for candidates relocating.
