This opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist to provide services within a K-12 school setting, supporting students across all grade levels. The role is full-time and based in the Tacoma, WA area, specifically serving schools in Spanaway, Washington. This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year. Responsibilities include: - Delivering occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and consultations tailored to K-12 students individual educational plans (IEPs) - Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and participation - Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state regulations - Supporting the functional performance of students to enhance their educational experience Qualifications and desired experience: - Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials to practice in the state of Washington - Experience working within school systems, preferably serving K-12 populations - Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with teachers, parents, and other professionals - Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt services to individual student needs This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on students educational success while working in a supportive environment.
