Assistant - Washington Position Summary Commonwealth Medical
Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioners
and Physician Assistants to join our dynamic healthcare team in
Washington. This role emphasizes providing comprehensive,
patient-centered care across various settings, including outpatient
clinics and specialty services. The successful candidates will work
collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to
ensure high-quality outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage health concerns for a diverse
patient population. Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health
assessments. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab
work and imaging studies. Create and implement treatment plans in
collaboration with the healthcare team. Provide patient education
and counseling regarding health issues, prevention, and treatment
options. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
using electronic health records. Participate in quality improvement
initiatives and promote best practices in patient care. Stay
current with evolving medical knowledge and advancements in
practice. Support a culture of teamwork, communication, and shared

development. Requirements Qualifications & Certifications Current
certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Valid
state licensure in Washington. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
is preferred. Education & Experience Master's degree in Nursing or
Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program. Clinical
experience in primary care or specialty areas preferred. New
graduates will be considered based on clinical rotation experience.
