Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/28/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 – 17:30)/n/nPosition: Operating Room RN/n/nImportant Notes / Hard Stops:/n/nFormer Swedish permanent staff are NOT eligible to work as travelers—no exceptions, regardless of time elapsed/n/nAny prior Swedish perm staff is a hard stop for all OR units and OR specialties/n/nRobotics, General, Urology, GYN, Bariatrics, minor Vascular, Plastics, and Thoracic cases are hard stops/n/nThoracic and vascular experience is REQUIRED to independently take call (hard stop if not met)/n/nLicensure:/n/nAll Swedish facilities accept active Compact licenses/n/nExperience:/n/nMinimum 2 years OR experience required (screen out candidates with less than 2 years)/n/nFloating:/n/nFloating required to other ORs at the First Hill Campus/n/nCertifications:/n/nRequired: BLS, ACLS/n/nPreferred: CNOR/n/nScheduling & Call Requirements:/n/nWeekends: Based on unit needs/n/nCall:/n/nThree weeknight call shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)/n/nThree weekend call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)/n/nPer 6-week schedule/n/n30-minute call response time required/n/nOR travelers receive schedules in 6-week intervals/n/nVariable schedules are set in advance; any changes are discussed with the traveler beforehand/n/nOccasional schedule adjustments may occur, but availability is always confirmed first and is not frequent/n/nStaffing is adjusted based on patient volume, with voluntary flexibility prioritized among permanent staff/n/nShift Info: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 – 17:30) About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
