Job Description Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Acute Care Surgical Hospitalist Location: Renton, WA Employment Type: Permanent (Direct Hire) Organization: UW Medicine Affiliate Valley Medical Center's Acute Care Surgery team seeks a dedicated APP for hospitalist duties in Renton, WA. This permanent role supports 24/7 care for general surgical emergencies and trauma patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Key Responsibilities Manage daily evaluations and inpatient care for acute surgical and trauma admissions. Provide hospitalist services including consults, procedures, and discharge planning. Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and staff for seamless patient recovery. Qualifications Board-certified PA-C or ARNP with acute care surgical or trauma experience. Active WA licensure, DEA, and ability to handle high-acuity cases required. Passion for emergency surgical care in a Level III trauma-affiliated setting.
