PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital rehabilitation, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. We specialize in providing intense, tailored rehabilitation treatments focused on helping patients regain their independence after surgery, injury, or illness. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be instrumental in planning and administering approved therapy treatments to assist patients in enhancing their functionality and mobility. This role requires a compassionate professional who is committed to the health and recovery of individuals who have undergone significant medical procedures. Evaluate patients’ conditions and develop appropriate therapy treatment plans. Implement therapeutic activities to enhance patients' function in various aspects of their lives. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly. Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and lifestyle adjustments. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Maintain patient records and document their progress and therapy outcomes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks. Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions relevant to occupational therapy. Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment and devices. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state-specific Occupational Therapist license. Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
