Position: Part Time Floor Nurse
Location: Chateau Pacific - 3333 148th St SW Lynnwood, WA 98087

The LPN Charge Nurse is responsible for providing Medication, treatment delivery and licensed nursing support to the Chateau Retirement Communities Assisted Living/Memory Care Department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to executing medication assistance, performing nursing treatments as needed, assistance in maintaining overall documentation, effective communication with residents and family members, notifying Department Nurse Mangers of change of condition or concerns, and be point of contact in the absence of the Department Nurse Manager.
What you need to qualify to work for the Chateau:


  • Current Washington LPN License
  • Must have completed all necessary training as mandated by the State of Washington requirements
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Has good organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sensitive to and knowledgeable of issues related to aging
  • Food Handlers Permit
  • Dementia and Mental Health
  • Valid CPR



    Reports to Memory Care Nurse Manger
    Hourly/Supervisory/Non-Exempt
    Areas of Responsibility:

    • Provide direct nursing care as assigned
    • Execute medication assistance and administration for assigned residents according to procedures.
    • Perform nursing treatments as needed and assigned
    • Point of contact in the absence of Department Nurse Managers
    • Assist Department Nurse Manger with assessments, care planning, unusual occurrence procedures and routine documentation as needed.
    • Assist with oversight of medication program including MAR reviews, new orders, changed orders, etc.
    • Assist with staff meetings & continuing education to meet performance requirements of caregivers and other regulated and required training.
    • Become familiar with and follow all Chateau Care and other pertinent policies, procedures and systems.
    • Act as a resource and support for the caregivers.
    • Assist with ensuring that all Boarding Home and other relevant regulations are met
    • Document all medication and treatment services provided according to policies.
    • Document any changes or concerns regarding residents physical and cognitive status and communicate changes to residents primary care physician.
    • Assist the Department Nurse Mangers with ensuring medications are ordered and received properly from the pharmacy
    • Assist with ensuring that pharmacy policy and procedures are in place and followed
    • Assist with ongoing med pass training
    • Ensure unusual occurrence reports are filled out correctly, appropriate people are notified, and the resident is placed on alert charting before turning in to Department Nurse Manager for further investigation.
    • Assist the Department Nurse Manager with miscellaneous paperwork including but not limited to filing, faxing, ensuring caregivers read care plans, flow sheets are completed timely & accurately, and ensure monthly vitals are completed
    • Respect privacy, dignity and confidentiality regarding all residents and their care by following HIPAA guidelines
    • Participate in any events, groups or activities that promote the Assisted Living/Memory Care Department and or the general community
    • Do updates and quarterly checks to the Nurse Call system as assigned by Nurse Manager.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Assisted Living and Memory Care Nurse Manager
    • Document all ADL and medication services provided on appropriate forms
    • Document any changes or concerns regarding resident's physical and /or cognitive status
    • Notify your supervisor if a resident has increased care needs
    • Inform your supervisor of any resident changes of condition or family concerns
    • Attend ALL Staff meetings and other training sessions
    • Communicate time off per company and department guidelines
