Are you looking for a new opportunity to be creative in a kitchen? Do you love classic cocktails and rare bourbons? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for their craft to take their culinary skills to the next level. Perry's is an upscale cocktailbar in downtown Puyallup. We believe in making quality food and drinks accessible and fun for our community. -Key Requirements:-2+ years of Executive/Head Chef experience.-Flexible schedule with ability to work 40+ hour work weeks, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (we currently operate 5 nights a week). Closed Sunday Monday.-This is a small establishment which requires you to be a hands on Chef working side by side with your team. -Hire,manage, train, and mentor all kitchen personnel to perform their best.-Responsible for kitchen schedule, ordering, and inventory management.-Be accountable for food cost and labor.-Experiment to come up with new specialties to draw diners.-Executes delicious and consistent menu items with seasonal updates.-Employs food safety best practices and ensures all kitchen staff members do the same. Be a neat freak, and maintain a high level of cleanliness. We are an open kitchen where diners view the "show".-Keep up to date recipes and procedures for all menu items.-Interpersonal skills necessary to keep a healthy work environment. Has a strong presence with great attention to detail, and quality of service.-Positive disposition under pressure. -Hourly and shared tips based on experience level.
