We focus on environmentally friendly practices that are good for the clients and the world around us. We are here to make a difference in the lives of people around us through food. Many clients may work too much to enjoy well cooked food. They may have dietary restrictions which make eating healthy further out of reach. We are here to help.We have chefs that work in client's homes and chefs that work in our commissary kitchen for our custom meal delivery service. We have chefs that focus mainly on the private dinners we offer. There is something for everyone here!Our commissary kitchen is located in downtown Seattle and if you are looking forward to travelling and working at home, you'll work in a geographic territory that is near where you live with clients all around the greater Seattle area and neighboring cities.What is a typical day?

  • Discuss meal preferences and expectations with clients. Send a sample menu to clients according to their specific dietary needs.
    • Shop daily for ingredients and other materials as needed for meal preparation at the store of the client's choosing. This takes about 30 minutes to an hour during the day and gives you control of the ingredients you are cooking with.
      • Cook delicious meals according to your client's schedule and specifications.
        • Plate and serve meals to your clients or store with future cooking instructions.
          • Wrap up the client experience. Cleaning the kitchen cooking area
            • You'll have the opportunity to interact with clients and resolve client concerns to ensure an exceptional experience.This is not an all-inclusive list and may be broadened or changed to meet changing business needs.Experience and education you'll bring to the team:
              • Minimum of 3 years of restaurant experience a must; previous experience as a personal chef a plus but not required
                • Food safety training and certification
                  • Previous experience creating and cooking different types of cuisines
                    • Ability to adhere to all Health Department, OSHA, and WISHA requirements
                      • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required when travelling to client's homes. Travel to clients' houses required.Prefer not to travel, that's okay too, you can work at commissary kitchen in XYZ. All schedules are tailored to optimize and limit travel time for more quality cooking time.What we need from our team members?
                        • Communication - -Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Interacts with clients accurately, effectively, honestly, and in a timely manner
                          • Organization - -Possess excellent organizational and time management skills a as the ability to meet deadlines and the flexibility to move from priority to priority as needed
                            • Hospitality - -Energetic and self-starting with a "Client First" focus. Ability to interface effectively with clients and fellow team members. Professional appearance and demeanor
                              • Intermediate level proficiency using a computer and MS Office applications
                                • Exhibits motivation, determination, and decisiveness
