The Details:

Location: Downtown Seattle (remote is not available for this role)

Work Schedule: Our typical business hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday

Travel Requirements: Up to 10% (within Seattle metro)

What You'll Be Doing:

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Temporary Human Resources Coordinator brings exceptional organizational skills, sharp eye for detail and flexible personality to the HR Department. The Temporary Human Resources Coordinator provides support for all human resource functions as necessary. The Temporary Human Resources Coordinator ensures the HR Department runs smoothly and efficiently by providing support to multiple areas; Human Resources, Facilities and Recruitment while maintaining a world-class customer service mentality.


  • Performs HR functions as necessary, including but not limited to benefits, record retention, research, training and development;
  • Assists with recruitment activities such as: background checks, phone screens, interview facilitation, job posting, etc.;


    • Assists with new hire orientations, onboarding and new hire paperwork processing;


      • Maintains human resource information system records, employee personnel files and compiles reports from the database;
      • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations;
      • Maintains a strict level of confidentiality;
      • Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Form I-9;
      • Assists with various Human Resources procedures including but not limited to FMLA and Short Term and Long Term Disability;
      • Schedules, organizes, and helps facilitate HR training sessions as well as organization-wide meetings;
      • Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory;
      • Ensures human resource documents and files are updated and maintained in accordance with retention guidelines;
      • Provides ongoing support to the HR Manager and Director;
      • Leads and coordinates workplace improvement projects as necessary;
      • Manages the calendars of the Director of Human Resources and Administration;
      • Answers incoming phone calls and triage as needed;
      • Assists facilities requests such as: office supply orders, lunch order, mail distribution, etc.;
      • Other duties as assigned by your manager.



        You Will Need to Have:

        • High school diploma;
        • 1+ years office support experience in a fast-paced environment;
        • 1+ years of Human Resources experience ;
        • Demonstrated ability to take the initiative with minimal direction;
        • Ability to lift 35 pounds occasionally;
        • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of the day;
        • Intermediate level Microsoft Office Suite applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
        • Exceptional customer service orientation with a high sense of urgency;
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
        • Strong knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping;
        • Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management and human resources;
        • Ability to work independently and as part of a work team;
        • Ability to meet deadlines and be self-directed in work.

          It Will Be Great if You Have:

          • Associate's Degree preferred
