Job Description:

Candidate must have 4 years experience within HR Compensation.
The Senior Compensation Analyst contributes and supports the administration of executive, exempt and non-exempt compensation programs for Office Depot; facilitates implementation of program, compensation structures, and system changes to support company strategic plan ensuring equitable compensation; and serves as an internal consultant to all levels of the organization. Designs and manages compensation projects from planning and research to implementation. Conducts market pricing and internal equity studies and participates in surveys. Performs complex research, statistical analysis, and reporting. Assists in the development of compensation policies and programs. Administers annual compensation programs. Interfaces and develops positive working relationships with internal customers. Coordinates special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities1. Provide research and analytical support regarding executive, exempt and non-exempt salary administration including market comparisons, structure comparisons and Oracle HCM (mycloud) administration.2. Develop and revise human resource standard practice and procedures; monitor activities to ensure consistency and conformance to such standards and procedures; ensure activities adhere to company policies and procedures.3. Participate in job evaluation process reviewing job descriptions and making grade recommendations.4. Oracle HCM (mycloud) element set up and maintenance for compensation related tables; maintaining, running, and/or creating reports within the Oracle HCM.5. Conduct, respond to or participate in salary surveys.6. Provide technical expertise and advice on broad-based and incentive compensation, with all levels within organization.7. Conduct internal and external studies of compensation trends.8. Develop and maintain human resources processes and analytical services to support internal customers.9. Administer monthly, quarterly and/or annual bonus processing as outlined in program guidelines and respond to/address follow-up questions from internal clients.10. Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications--- Minimum of four years of progressively responsible compensation work experience in a large organization of Tech/Consulting Industry with multi-location environment--- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, Financial Analysis--- Microsoft Office including: Excel (high functioning level), Word, and PowerPoint; CCP preferred--- Technical competencies with Microsoft Office including: Excel (high functioning level), Word, and PowerPoint--- Working knowledge of Oracle HCM (mycloud) system functionality and process reengineering--- Project management, negotiation, and decision-making skills--- Presentation and Communication skills--- Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills--- Personal attributes include but are not limited to being: Forward thinker, Team Player, Creative and independent thinker, Solutions driven
