others.PRIMARY PURPOSE: - To support and assist colleague resources
management with colleague resources responsibilities and
administrative functions for specified offices.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists colleague resources management with colleague resources
responsibilities and prepares necessary documentation for hiring,
promotion, salary review, and/or termination obtaining necessary
approval and ensuring subsequent action by corporate colleague
resources.
- Ensures specified offices are in compliance with and advises
managers on colleague resources policies and procedures; makes
recommendation for improvements.
- Assists with interviewing applicants; administers and reviews
employment test; and makes recommendations on hiring decisions
based on test results and background checks.
- Makes recommendations on salary determinations and
adjustments.
- Assists colleagues with employee benefit plans, payroll, leave
of absence and other colleague resources related actions.
- Monitors colleagues on leave of absence.
- Ensures HRIS data information is accurate, complete, and
timely.
- Prepares and reviews data reports; identifies issues and
communicates report results to colleague resources management.
- Participates in training for specified offices on colleague
resources issues such as colleague resources laws and regulations,
complaint procedures, EEOC, sexual harassment and termination
procedures; makes recommendation on training needs and
improvement.
- Informs colleague resources management of possible employee
relations issues; makes recommendation on resolution.
- Advises managers and colleagues regarding colleague resources
policies and procedures.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Travels as required.QUALIFICATIONSEducation &
LicensingBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
preferred. - Professional designation preferred.ExperienceFive (5)
years human resources experience or equivalent combination of
education and experience required. - Human resources generalist
experience preferred.Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of Human Resources related laws
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
