POSITION TITLE: Case Manager - Supported Employment

POSITION DUTIES: Provides culturally and linguistically competent supported employment services to ensure attainment of project goals and objectives for Mandarin-speaking and other members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community who are job seekers with a disability, in particular with chronic mental illness. Works with clients with a disability, mostly mental illness, to develop and implement strengths-based supported employment vocational/training service plan. Conducts comprehensive assessments addressing broad range of life domains and develops individualized service plan. Develops, implements, monitors, and modifies a written personalized service plan in collaboration with clients to provide individual benefit counseling, job readiness assessment, vocational counseling, job coaching, assess progress in clients' service plans, and assist in job search activities. Delivers client services based on the employment plan. Assists clients and provides advocacy and coordination in accessing support services, training programs, and resources. Provides long term follow-up case management. Prepares concise, complete, and accurate program documentation. Maintains complete and accurate case files and records. Performs job development and program outreach functions in the community. Provides training to and consultation for staff regarding supported employment service to individuals with disability. Participates in training, staff and team meetings, consultations, and conferences. Coordinates and cooperates with other agencies and organizations to facilitate implementation of service plans. 50% to 60% telecommuting within MSA.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree* in social work, social/behavioral science, counseling or related field, or the foreign degree equivalent. Mandarin language fluency required.
*Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree* in social work, social/behavioral science, counseling or related field, or foreign degree equivalent and 3 years of experience providing employment job placement or job retention services in lieu of a Master's degree.
SALARY: $69,421.90/year to $92,340.50/year.

LOCATION OF
EMPLOYMENT: Full time; 40 hours per week. Position at Asian Counseling and Referral Service in Seattle, WA (50% to 60% telecommuting within MSA.)
