related to the sales and incentive plans across all of Microsoft,

Change Management team within WWIC is a dynamic, collaborative team
that is responsible for ensuring sellers have the information they
need to understand their incentive compensation plans while
ensuring key initiatives impacting incentive compensation land
effectively for our sellers. This is a fast-paced group that values

strategic and experienced Communications & Change Management
Director - Incentive Compensation to help lead WWIC transformation
initiatives. This role requires a leader who can drive operational
change across complex, matrixed environments and can distill the
complex to effectively communicate WWIC strategies. As a
Communications Director within WWIC, you will be responsible for
driving our brand creation, both internally and externally. You
will also be responsible for shaping and executing change
strategies that align with business priorities, foster adoption,

Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Data
Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field AND 10 years
experience in compensation, business management and operations,
finance and analytics, human resources and people analytics,
marketing, or sales strategy OR equivalent experience. 7 years of
experience with Executive Communication and/or Change Management.
Change Management certificate from Prosci or other Change
Management certification. Sales Compensation IC6 - The typical base
pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200
per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work
locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City
metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those
locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year. Microsoft will
accept applications for the role until June 19, 2025.
Responsibilities Lead WWIC brand creation, including creating key
content & story boarding to support road shows, executive
briefings, social media, and industry forums. Lead the design and
execution of change management strategies for high-impact,
cross-functional incentive compensation initiatives. Serve as a
trusted advisor to WWIC and other senior leadership, providing
insights and guidance on organizational readiness, stakeholder
alignment, and risk mitigation. Drive clarity and momentum across
change programs impacting incentive compensation by aligning teams,
defining success metrics, and ensuring accountability. Cultivate a
culture of adaptability and continuous improvement through
coaching, communication, and engagement strategies. Partner with
key stakeholder groups including HR, Communications, Program
Management, and Business Leaders to embed change capabilities
across the organization. Anticipate resistance and proactively
develop mitigation plans to ensure successful adoption of new
processes, systems, or behaviors.
