in the Life of the HR Generalist: The Human Resources Generalist is
responsible for supporting a positive employee experience by
managing workplace issues, advising leaders, and ensuring
compliance with employment laws and company policies. This role
serves as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, promoting a
fair, consistent, and engaging work environment. - Serve as the
first point of contact for employee relations matters, providing
guidance and support to employees and leaders. - Investigate and
resolve employee complaints, conflicts, and workplace concerns in a
fair and timely manner. - Advise managers on performance
management, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation. -
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local
employment laws to ensure compliance. - Assist in developing and
implementing employee relations programs, policies, and training. -
Partner with HR colleagues to analyze trends and recommend
solutions that support engagement and retention. - Maintain
accurate and confidential employee relations case documentation. -
Support workplace culture initiatives to foster inclusion, trust,
and accountability. - Collaborate with legal and compliance teams
as needed on sensitive or complex cases. - Other duties as
assigned. What You Bring to the Table: - 3 years of HR or employee
relations experience required, preferably in a mid- to large-sized
organization. - Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best
practices. - Excellent communication, mediation, and conflict
resolution skills. - Ability to handle confidential information
with discretion. - Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with
employees at all levels. - Sound judgment and decision-making. -
Conflict resolution and problem-solving. - Relationship building
and collaboration. - Cultural awareness and inclusivity. -
Communication and influence. Education: - Bachelor’s degree in
Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
preferred; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) preferred.

regular full-time position Base Salary: The base salary range in
Washington for this position is $82,000 - $95,000 annually. The
base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range
for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the
range based on various factors including but not limited to
