Job Description:
Looking for an opportunity to make a big impact at a
fast-growing start-up based in Seattle? ROVA is a platform
connecting independent couriers to customers. We are
revolutionizing a 200-year-old on-demand delivery industry.
If you're passionate about mobile platforms and translating code
into user-friendly apps, we would like to meet you. As a Senior
Mobile & SDK Engineer, you'll collaborate with internal teams to
develop mobile applications while working in a fast-paced start-up
environment.
Responsibilities
Design and build the next generation of ROVA Platform mobile
applications
Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test,
release and support)
Gather requirements and suggest solutions
Write unit and UI tests to identify and fix malfunctions
Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
Liaise with the Product and UX to plan new features
Ensure new and legacy applications meet high-quality standards
Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and
protocols
Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
Requirements
Proven experiencing producing fully functional mobile
applications
A portfolio of released applications on the App store or the
Android market is a huge advantage
In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift,
Java, React, React Native
Proven experience with SDK Design Principles
Proven experience with API Design Principles
Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes
Familiarity with OOP design principles
Excellent analytical skills with a positive problem-solving
attitude
Ability to communicate well and perform in a collaborative team
environment
BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent work
