Job Summary

The VP of Delivery is responsible for overseeing Hoverstates software development life cycle and the departments that contribute, namely: Experience Design, Pega Development, Traditional Development, Quality Assurance, Product Management, and Account Management. This position will ensure our delivery process is smooth as butter, mentor their reports to achieve their full potential, and provide maximum business value to our clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Effectively manage all aspects of the Delivery team including managing workflow for yourself and all department heads
• Review and enhance existing tools and processes to ensure customers are realizing maximum business value from Hoverstate services and meeting business goals
• Attend and actively participate in senior staff meetings, offering ideas, insights, and recommendations on company policies, staffing, client service, new business, and other topics that ultimately impact the overall quality of the organization
• Consistently demonstrate the ability to successfully move into problem-solving mode whenever challenges or concerns arise
• Provides feedback, advice, and back up as needed to other members of the senior staff team to ensure all senior staff has the support needed to effectively run accounts and promote positive work environment
• Accountable for the revenue targets, overall profitability, and success of his/her department and organization that contributes to the overall success of Hoverstate
• Able to walk the fine line of guiding direct reports when needed, and allowing them to grow in their leadership capabilities with added responsibility
• Ability to make effective decisions and manage change
  
  Qualifications And Skills
  
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Experience managing multiple departments
  • Knowledge of different implementation methodologies
  • Exposure and familiarity with the software development life cycle
  • Incredible communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience leading projects from Request for Proposal through implementation and support
  • Strong client relationship management
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or relevant experience
