Job Description:
You will play a key role in fulfilling the Resourcing Strategy
across your region, delivering best practice recruitment solutions,
and partnering with Department Managers to attract candidates. You
will lead the recruiting process from sourcing candidates through
appointments and across the onboarding of new starters. What you'll
deliver Strong candidates with the potential to become contributing
employees and members of the Downstream team. Presenting
individuals with the proper technical skillset at the right time to
meet the recruitment needs of the business. How we'll measure

- Ensure Headcount is in accordance with Budgeted Headcount
- Work closely with Operations to craft hiring plans and execute
strategic searches
- Work with leadership to create and manage Downstream
recruitment approval process
- Attract and engage top-talent by conducting full lifecycle,
high-impact targeted talent acquisition processes including job
specification development, drafting Job ads, applicant sourcing,
interviewing, scheduling, evaluating, negotiating offers, and
hiring in a manner that highlights our unique culture
- Be able to accurately represent Downstream to its target market
of candidates
- Effectively communicate the Downstream brand, what we do, our
work culture and environment
- Get to know candidates by conducting initial resume, phone
screens, and reference checks and then make recommendations to
hiring managers
- Impress candidates by leveraging Downstream branding and
messages to develop creative, effective job postings and
externally-facing materials
- Apply a range of recruitment techniques on all requisitions and
job postings (ie. recruitment branding, market positioning,
candidate experience, analysis of effective hires, future hiring
needs, cost savings and direct sourcing)
- Use of passive and active sourcing approaches to engage with
the candidate market to build deep talent pipelines/talent
pools
- Ensure stellar candidate experiences by scheduling and
preparing in-person interview materials
- Proactively manage the tracking of candidates
- Continuously explore and execute market best practices related
to talent acquisition and on-boarding
- Own and drive our employee referral reward program
- Recommend and implement creative, effective process
enhancements and efficiencies
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience by collaborating with
studio contacts, P&C Business Partners and hiring managers
- Recruitment Reporting on a weekly basis Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR related discipline or equivalent
experience
- Sound experience within a HR function with a focus on talent
acquisition operating across all areas of the business
- Agency and Design industry background preferred but not
required
- Experience with managing full lifecycle talent acquisition
process with an emphasis on efficiency and ensuring a successful
applicant/candidate experience
- Experience recruiting for technical roles -
- Experience in sourcing "Passive" candidates
- Experience supporting remote team members
- Experience with general local/regional employment laws and
practices
- Knowledge of Visa and migration requirements/practices
Technical knowledge, skills or other requirements
- Skilled at maximizing HR technology and creating applicant
tracking dashboards
