About the Role: A Principal Technical Recruiter is the very most Senior-level individual contributor role on our team. This role at Bandwidth takes responsibility for managing client accounts and owning all requisitions in it from start to finish on highly technical or executive positions. Day to day responsibilities include extensive hiring manager and candidate interactions as well as working collaboratively with sourcers and recruiters on your accounts. Our ideal team member has deep experience in the recruiting industry with a focus on technical recruiting. This position reports into a lead recruiter or a Practice Director and has a clearly defined career path to more senior recruiting or program management roles.

In this role you will:

  • Work collaboratively with lead recruiters and hiring managers to define requirements and identify suitable talent
  • Own Client facing communications and full-lifecycle recruiting for both tech and non-tech roles and provide mentorship sourcers or recruiters on your team
  • Champion industry best practices to provide strategic recruiting support and develop appropriate recruiting strategies for Clients
  • Utilize your deep industry knowledge and communication skills to become a trusted advisor to Clients and develop relationships that ensure account retention and growth
  • Source, evaluate and screen candidates for a wide variety of positions including ones with complex technical requirements
  • Own recruiting delivery for some of Seattle's hottest tech companies from opening the req to offer negotiationTo be successful in this role you will need:
    • 5+ years of full-lifecycle recruitment experience in a fast-paced staffing agency or tech company
    • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders in order to move recruiting initiatives forward
    • Superior project management and organization skills to manage end-to-end recruiting in a strategic and candidate-friendly way
    • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts used to interview software engineers and communicate effectively with technical hiring managers
    • An amazing phone manner with strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • A high level of energy, passion and enthusiasm, and desire to relentlessly search until you find the best match
    • Strong computer skills (Google Docs, LinkedIn, Applicant Tracking Systems and/or CRM databases)
    • BA/BS degree strongly preferred
    • Strong problem-solving and Internet research skills
    • Ability to adapt quickly to new customer needs, technologies and tools
