looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Platform - Windows
interested in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge agents
that run in our customers' environments to enable some of the
patented visibility features of our sensors. Our team is
responsible for the development and support of operating systems,
kernels, drivers, firmware
installation/upgrade/administration/security, and networking for
our appliances and SaaS. We also work closely with other teams on
our Windows and Linux agents and their build systems and
installers. Most of our development is in a Linux environment, but
we're looking for an experienced Windows developer to be one of our
experts on the Windows agents. In accordance with your skills and
interests, you will also contribute to the Linux agents and/or the
appliances/SaaS alongside the rest of the team. We offer an

can't wait to chat with you. Duties & Responsibilities Develop and
maintain cutting-edge agents that run in our customers' Windows
environments to enable patented visibility features of ExtraHop
products Work closely with other subject matter experts across
teams to devise and implement new product capabilities leveraging
the unique features of the agents Help develop and maintain the
build/CI systems and installers for the Windows agents Contribute
to the Linux agents and/or the appliances/SaaS alongside the rest
of the team, in accordance with your skills and interests
Collaborate with UX, PM, QA, and other engineering teams to define
requirements, develop architecture, and implement new features
Participate in agile development methodologies Demonstrate traits
in line with our company values (have a sense of humor, be nice to
each other, think about customers first, build cool stuff) Required
Skills & Experience 5+ years software engineering experience,
including 2+ years developing commercial-quality Windows software
Familiarity with Windows driver development or the Windows network
stack (Schannel, Winsock, NDIS, etc.) Strong familiarity with
modern Windows build/CI environments Basic knowledge of Windows
administration Practical understanding of data structures and
algorithms Ability to lead and mentor other team members Strong
communication skills Desired Skills & Experience Experience with
advanced Windows debugging/visibility tools such as Sysinternals
Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, etc.
Experience with Windows code signing using CI/CD Familiarity with
back-end languages such as Golang, C/C++, C#, Python, Rust, and SQL
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP ABOUT
