touch.Opportunity:Point B Direct is working with a Seattle-based
client looking to hire a contract Data Analyst/Report Developer.
This role is a hybrid work schedule with the client requiring
several days onsite in Seattle per week. Resource must be based out
of Seattle. Job Summary:10 years proven technical experience
analyzing and designing data infrastructure and system requirements
to extract and organize data for authorized user access. Proven
work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Migration
specialist, or similar role. Duties include identifying client's
internal and external data sources, collaborating with various BUs
to determine their data storage and organizational needs and using
the information to create a One Source of Truth (EDW) and maintain
data infrastructure for end users and managers.Duties and
Responsibilities:Hands-on experience leading architectural
discussions and design exercises to build and automate large scale
migration of dataArchitect, design and oversee the development of
the database mapping and migration processes Optimize new and
current database systems Ensures data integrity and security Plan
and design the processes for data migration to ensure data
integrity and completeness, quality, and preserve securityIn-depth
understanding of database migration principles Experience with
migration of mission critical databases across multiple database
platformsKnowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
Expertise in Java, Javascript, , Python or Ruby is
preferredFamiliarity with data visualization and BI tools and
methodologies, e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, QuicksightCompensation
Model:Hourly non-exemptQualifications/Competencies:Must hold a
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in computer science, information systems,
Mathematics, MIS or related field. Must have experience working
with Scrum and Agile Development methodologies. Must have strong
Oral and Written Communication skillsMust have structured design,
development, and implementation of new computing architecturesMust
be able to operate independently while establishing strong working
relationships with other teams and team members Must have strong
organizational and prioritization skills Must demonstrate critical
attention to detail and deadlines Must be able to adapt to change
in direction and priorities in a project and deadline-oriented
environment Work Environment and Physical Requirements:Ability to
travel to client site (if applicable)Ability to work from
homeAbility to work non-standard work hours as necessaryAbility to
remain in a stationary position for more than 50% of the dayAbility
to operate a laptop and other office productivity
