Overview
The American Institutes for Research (AIR) is seeking an
Apprenticeship Senior Technical Assistance Consultant to join our
team working to grow and diversify apprenticeship programs across
the country. This position is located in the Workforce Program Area
within AIR's Human Services Division.
For over 15 years, AIR has partnered with organizations at the
national and state levels to advance apprenticeship as a talent
development strategy in the U.S. We work with businesses and
industry associations to design, register, and operate
apprenticeship programs. We coach and support states and partners
about how to grow apprenticeship and better align the
apprenticeship, workforce development, and education systems. We
also focus on conducting research and identifying promising
practices; working with federal and state agencies to train
partners, develop policy, and design TA initiatives; and advancing
diversity, equity, and inclusion in apprenticeship. For more

Candidates hired for the position may work remotely within the
United States (U.S.) or from one of our U.S. office locations.

Responsibilities
The individual will be an essential contributor to ongoing and
future apprenticeship projects at the federal and state levels.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a
full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B
sponsorship) is not available for this position. Depending on
project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain
residency requirements.

AIR's Total Rewards Program, is designed to reward our staff
competitively and motivate them to achieve our critical mission.
This position offers an anticipated annual salary of $126,000 -
$145,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within
the institution and external equity with competitive markets.
Please note this is the annual salary range for candidates that are
based in the United States.
