Job Title: GO-Lang / Backend Developer Location: Seattle , WA (Hybrid onsite) Duration: 6 Months Contract Job Description: Infrastructure and efficiency work for the management of our internal Readability program. Automation and toil reduction are needed to help streamline the administration of the process and improve the experience for participants. Responsibilities: Work directly with the TL for Readability as well as language admin groups to identify friction points in the program. Apply software engineering skills to produce quality code and tests. Coordination, communication, collaboration with TL and other engineers Design of new features for Readability infrastructure Coding and testing User support for users of new features Experience: 5+ years of application development experience. Full stack development, with backend emphasis. Basic HTML Proficiency in the Go programming language Experience with AppEngine or other serverless platforms Basic JavaScript Understanding of basic database queries Skills: Go programming language. Full stack development, with backend emphasis. Basic HTML Education: BS in CS or equivalent.
