Universal Cells (UCI) is announcing a Research Associate II Core
Technologies, Analytics opportunity at their facility in Seattle,
WA. Purpose:We are seeking a highly capable, self-motivated
Research Associate II for our Core Technologies Department. This
individual will contribute to the further molecular engineering for
our gene edited Universal Donor Cells. They will work as a key
member on a fast-paced team to develop molecular and cellular
assays to characterize our proprietary Universal Donor Cells.
Essential Job Responsibilities:Routinely executing standard
molecular analytical assays including primer design and
PCR/qPCR.Routinely performing aseptic cell culture of pluripotent
stems cells for general maintenance or experiment
executionContributes to reagent and sample organization and
inventory management systemsCompletes experiments and gathers data
in a systematic manner, utilizing strong multitasking and time
management skillsSummarizing and presenting data in both oral and
written formats.Team player; collaborating effectively with various
team members and other departments.Maintain accurate records and
work collaboratively to record experimental data Organizational
Context:As part of a busy team, with minimal guidance, this role
will work on multiple components of a project in the lab,
interacting with multiple functions or research groups.
Collaboration and teamwork is necessary for optimal
