Supports the operations, development and implementation teams. Promotes improved infrastructure architectures and best practices. Provides an interface to the customer development teams. Provides a systems focus when working with design application architectures. Tune/optimize deployed applications from a systems perspective.
System Engineer also assists in engineering solutions and managing complex projects through all phases of its lifecycle, which includes hardware, firmware, software, analysis,integration, building, testing, deployment, and ensuring sustainability and operational readiness for production use. Ensure maintainable end-to-end solutions by providing operation support to testing.
Primary Responsibilities: Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment in a Microsoft Windows/Linux environment; including systems and networks running Windows 2003, Windows2008, Windows 2012 and Linux operating systems
Coordinate and implement installation and testing of new security tools/systems
Troubleshoot reported problems and perform root cause analysis to prevent future service outage or degradation
Maintaining software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance
Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators and team
Supervising the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
Expert knowledge in maintaining applications, promoting changes, applying security patches
Having knowledge of Software Life Cycle
Excellent working knowledge of up-to-date desktop applications
Knowledge of source control system
Knowledge of MS-SQL, PEGA, JAVA, .NET, IIS, TOMCAT at high level to support and deploy
Strong Experience of Windows and Linux including knowledge of Windows Servers, workstations, MS Exchange, VMware, Citrix, anti-virus and other various software applications
Understanding of IIS, connection pooling, WMI, JMX
Experienced with hosting and scaling Java application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, etc.) in a highly available and high throughput environment
Working understanding of load balancer hardware and software (F5 BigIP)
Experience maintaining systems in a load balanced environment
Technical, analytical, interpersonal and organization skills
Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner; both written and verbal.
Ability to work well with others, as well as independently. Attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a small business environment

Bachelor's Degree
