the overall mission of the institute. We're seeking a Microsoft 365
Operations Analyst that will be responsible for providing essential
support in resolving incidents, answering queries, and handling
requests related to the Microsoft 365 platform. Your expertise will
be crucial in ensuring seamless user experiences, efficient problem
resolution, and a high level of productivity across our
organization. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the
productivity and collaboration tools that our researchers and staff
rely on daily. The Allen Institute believes that team science

- Respond promptly to incidents and service requests related to
Microsoft 365 applications, including but not limited to Microsoft
Office, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently, ensuring a quick
resolution and minimal impact on employees
- Provide first-level support and guidance to end users
encountering technical difficulties or seeking assistance with
Microsoft 365 tools
- Offer clear explanations and step-by-step instructions to help
employees optimize their experience and utilize the platform
effectively
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on common issues,
troubleshooting steps, and standard operating procedures to
facilitate knowledge sharing and enhance the team's efficiency
- Collaborate with other IT teams, including infrastructure,
security, and application support, to address complex incidents and
contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization's
technology environment
- Monitor the Microsoft 365 platform for potential issues,
perform routine checks, and implement proactive measures to avoid
service disruptions and optimize system performance Note:

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of degree and
experience required
- Minimum of 1 years supporting IT operations
- Minimum of 1 year of supporting the Microsoft 365 applications
and platforms
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac platforms
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 suite components,
including Office, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and
OneDrive
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting Microsoft 365
issues, both independently and collaboratively Preferred Education
and Experience
- 3 years of experience supporting IT Operations
- 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and
platforms
- Knowledge and experience with the M365 security tools such as
Defender and Sentinel
- Microsoft 365 certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified
Fundamentals or Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop
Administrator Associate
- Experience working on large-scale projects
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with
the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users
effectively
- A customer-centric approach and a passion for providing
exceptional end-user support
- Proactive and able to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic
and fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining
accurate documentation Physical Demands
- Fine motor movements in fingers/hands to operate computers and
other office equipment Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is an essential job and expected to report for work
regardless of weather and/or other conditions
- Occasional evening and weekend hours required Annualized Salary
Range
- $57,219 - $80,107* * Final salary depends on the required
education for the role, experience, level of skills relevant to the
role, and work location, where applicable. Benefits Employees (and
