Software Engineer - Quality Engineering (Tools /
Automation)Cliffhanger Games is a newly formed Seattle Studio
focusing on blockbuster action-adventure games and pioneering
next-generation emergent storytelling beginning with Marvel's Black

Quality Engineering team,you will be a part of helping the
Cliffhanger Studios adopt different technology or create new
softwareto improve the way we work. We need a capable generalist
that is happy to "jump in and learn" as the technology we work on
can range from full-stack web development, small made for purpose
tools, big data solutions to working with AI.Your capabilities must
encompass excellence in development practices, leading of internal
growth and developsoundtechnical plansthatproduce ameaningful

Technical Director for Cliffhanger Studios Quality Engineering.
Role is Seattle-based and open to hybrid or Remote (most North
America locations).What You Will Do: Use your knowledge of software
engineering concepts to implement tested, reusable, and modular
codeEvaluate and present new technology to the team and help us
look for opportunities for innovationCreatethe right approach by
understanding the technical needs of a solution, maintainability,
scalability and help us deliver value to the businessUnderstand the
reason behind the requirements of the business to find creative
solutionsTake ownership of technical design and implementation for
a set of featuresDemonstrate ownership over your work, through your
communication, by delivering quality and consistencyMonitor tools
usage, performance and resolve any failuresMentor other software
developersLearn and add to the team's collective knowledge baseWho
You Are:Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science,
Engineering or Software Engineering or equivalent5 years of
industry technical experience working on tools, test automation and
development process improvementsExperience with Gaming Engines and
toolsetsExperience with .NET, C#, and C++Experience with SQL and
non-SQL databases such asMySQL, MongoDBFamiliarity with cloud
development like AWS, GCP, or AzureExperience building
platform-grade tools and servicesExperience mentoring peers, and
delivering technical presentationsExperience creating system-level
technical design and documentationKnowledge of the software
life-cycle, modern testing methods and good understanding of
continuous integration"US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe base salary
ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones
in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a

determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate

just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a
package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to
start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays
