We are working on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) Platform and tokenization of money projects to shape and advance the future of money. We are looking for talented blockchain engineers to join this team. This is a unique opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about payments, banking, finance and blockchain technology, and is eager to be at the forefront of blockchain and digital asset developments. With the advent of the Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulation in Europe, Crypto work is more relevant than ever. We are leading the way in compliant, secure digital currency exchange by launching several products. You will be contributing to the development of CBDC, tokenized deposits, and regulated stablecoin infrastructure, focusing on security, scalability, and interoperability with other payment systems. You will also be collaborating with cross-functional teams to build robust smart contracts and applications.--About the role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Blockchain Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are working on a wide range of block chain based financial solutions such as central bank digital currencies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining blockchain-based systems and solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative blockchain technologies that drive our business objectives.--Note: We have a hybrid work environment in our Seattle/Bellevue office unless the role or business dictates otherwise.--What you will be doing:-----

  • Translate complex or ambiguous requirements into clean, maintainable, scalable, and well documented code.--
  • Develop and maintain blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and consensus algorithms.----
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and scalability of blockchain solutions.----
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in blockchain and cryptocurrency.----
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance in blockchain-related matters.----
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in blockchain applications and systems.----
  • Document blockchain development processes and best practices.--
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, security, scalability, and adherence to coding standards.--
  • Provide live on-call support by participating in the team on-call rotation and owning production issues from root cause analysis to resolution to future prevention.--
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design, security, compliance etc.) to bring ideas to life--
  • Set and maintain high standards of technical excellence across the team.--
  • Mentor junior engineers and help hire new talent to build a stronger team.--What you will need:-----
    • At a minimum, a Bachelor's in CS or equivalent education and either 2+ years of relevant professional experience or advanced degree such as a master's or PhD.--
    • Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, distributed ledger, and smart contracts.----
    • Proven experience with blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar.----
    • Knowledge of cryptography and blockchain protocols.----
    • Familiarity with P2P networks and consensus algorithms.----
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.----
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.-------Added bonus if you have:--
      • Typical qualifications for the role are 5+ years of relevant professional experience or a combination of work experience and advanced education.--
      • Proven ability to self-direct your technical work and scope projects effectively.--
      • Previous work on significant blockchain projects or contributions to open-source blockchain initiatives.----
      • Knowledge of financial services, payments, or cryptocurrency industries.--
      • Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers.--
      • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.--
      • Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Daml, JavaScript, Rust, NodeJS, Go, or Python.----
      • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services and Kubernetes, Docker, NIX----
      • Experience with version control systems (Git), and DevOps practices like continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).--

The pay range for this full-time position is $115,590.00 - $194,180.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
