10016 Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will work alongside talented software and
security professionals to - - Design, build, test, document, and
provide operational support for AWS-wide systems that protect
customer data.
- Collaborate with AWS services in Databases, Analytics and AI/ML
to understand their operational posture, to build tools and
security guidance such that these services maintain our high
security standards.
- Investigate and mechanistically mitigate security issues and
risks. A day in the life
As you design and code solutions to help our team drive
efficiencies in software architecture, you'll create metrics,
implement automation and other improvements, and resolve the root
cause of software defects. You'll also:
Build high-impact solutions to deliver to our large customer
base.
Participate in design discussions, code review, and communicate
with internal and external stakeholders.
Work cross-functionally to help drive business decisions with your
technical input.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of non-internship professional
software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming
language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns,
reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering
team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of full software development
life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source
control management, build processes, testing, and operations
experience

pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest
geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic
market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market
location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,
