front-end engineer who flourishes with crafting exceptional
experiences for creative professionals, from intuitive user
interfaces to the underlying services that bring them to life.What
you'll do
- Primarily focus on front-end development with some
collaboration on backend services as needed
- Build and optimize modern web applications using the latest
JavaScript frameworks, libraries, and front-end technologies
- Maintain front-end applications across development, staging,
and production environments using CI/CD tools like Circle CI,
GitHub, or similar
- Work on an agile development team, crafting innovative new
features and maintaining existing ones using premier
technologies
- Define long-term solutions for component-based architecture
using reactive coding methodologies
- Address exciting design and engineering challenges to create
seamless, high-quality user experiences
- Work closely with product managers to assemble requirements,
analyze technical feasibility, and propose design solutions that
meet business objectives
- Write tests and documentation as you implement features with
the team
- Advocate development and operation standard methodologies among
the development team
- Collaborate with other specialists on problems of all shapes
and sizes, from code to new insights and methodologies.What you'll
need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science (preferred), or
equivalent experience in the field.
- 5+ years of tried experience designing, building, and
maintaining high-performance, scalable, and responsive web
applications.
- Expertise in building dynamic, user-friendly interfaces and
front-end architecture principles.
- Deep knowledge of modern web technologies, performance
optimization, and accessibility standard processes.
- High fluency in data structures, algorithms, data modeling and
schema design.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and experience in
Java
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and frameworks
such as Web Components, React, Vue, or Angular, as well as state
management solutions and build tools.
- Track record of designing and developing scalable, high-impact
user interfaces that deliver seamless experiences across
devices
- Proficient in large-scale web application architecture and
development standard processes to create modular, maintainable, and
extensible solutions
- Experience deploying and maintaining frontend applications in
cloud environments, including performance monitoring, CI/CD
pipelines, and optimization for scalability.
- Knowledge in test frameworks, code coverage, static code
analysis tools
- Comfortable both building prototypes from scratch and writing
maintainable code inside large existing codebases
- Shipped software in a commercial environment (start-ups a plus)
and can deal with last-minute bug fixes and schedule changes
- Excellent collaborating skill with teams to get work done
- Strong learning skills for new technologiesBonus
- Full stack with good understanding of server-side design and
development
- Familiarity with document presentation file formats such as
PDF, PPTX, DOCX, etc
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development practicesOur
compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S.
geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined
markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $133,900 --
$242,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location
and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary
range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for
sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target
compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives
are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting
salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are
in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).In addition, certain
roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new
