Apply to our position today and we can get you there.A Java Engineer is a key part of the Client's Technology team that applies scientific, mathematical, and social principles to design, build, and maintain technology products, devices, systems, and solutions.We are looking for a candidate with experience in data transformation and modeling.These are the technologies used in our project: Java, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Hadoop cluster, AWS, TeraData, GCP BigQuery, Dataproc, FlinkResponsibilities include:

• Developing software systems to support Supply Chain services and warehouse management.
• Engaging in the design, architecture, and implementation of software systems to solve complex problems, including defining, scoping, and estimating tasks and work artifacts.
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Performing both automation and manual testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Providing on-call support for the systems owned by the team.Must have:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional, hands-on experience in delivering quality software.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Solid experience in automation testing with Selenium (Unit, Integration, Regression, Performance/Load) and willingness to perform manual testing.
• Mandatory experience with on-call support duties.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies and streaming platforms, such as Kafka.
• Experience with RESTful architecture and microservices.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of modern infrastructure tools and pipelines (GitLab, CI/CD, Terraform).
• Familiarity with logging and metrics tools (New Relic, Splunk).Nice to have:
  • Experience with Dematic Warehouse management system is a plus.
  • Ability to articulate and architect well-designed systems.
