Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.Your ImpactAs a Senior Engineer on the C&C team, you'll play a key role in shaping the foundational architecture of a highly anticipated new product. You are a cloud-native engineer who leverages modern cloud services to build systems that are scalable, high-performing, and highly available.

You know how to work backwards from a vision of a robust, feature-rich product to an agile MVP, enabling rapid iteration while laying the groundwork for long-term scalability. You're comfortable navigating complex engineering trade-offs and making thoughtful decisions that balance speed, reliability, and customer needs.

You'll collaborate closely with product managers and designers to ensure we're building the right solutions for our customers. You also take pride in mentoring others - you're a hands-on teacher who enjoys uplifting and growing the engineers around you.

• Develop a new set of Axon Records modules for Crash and Citation functionality
• Lead engineering architecture design reviews
• Set a high technical bar for the team through code and architecture design reviews
• Mentoring engineers
• Working across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering to create integrated solutions that delight our customers
• Improve our Engineering process, including long-term thinking, sprint planning and stand-ups
• Building services that adhere to our high bar on availability and latency in this mission-critical space
• Working with the latest open source technologiesWhat You Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems
  • Backend service experience in multiple, managed languages such as Java, Scala, Go, C#, or similar
  • Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores
  • Experience with Golang, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes is a plusBenefits that Benefit You
