passionate and curious engineers to innovate with us on behalf of
our customers. In this role, you will work with our senior
engineers to design and implement systems that orchestrate
thousands of databases. You will build a foundational platform
consisting of web service APIs and workflows which make Aurora
Serverless highly available, scalable, reliable and fast. This is a
unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor within a
fast-growing AWS service, have an impact on the product direction

This position requires that the candidate selected must be a US
Citizen. Key job responsibilities These are core systems
development positions where you will grow to own the design and
development of significant system software components critical to
our industry leading database services architected for the cloud.
You will be part of the team that architects, designs, and
implements highly scalable distributed database systems that
provide availability, reliability and performance guarantees. This
is a hands-on position where you will be asked to do everything
from building rock-solid components to mentoring other engineers.

professional software development experience - 2 years of
non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability
and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 1 years of
software development engineer or related occupational experience -
1 years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered,
multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications,
tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl
experience - 1 years of Object Oriented Design experience -
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science,
Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field - Experience
programming with at least one software programming language - 3
years of full software development life cycle, including coding
standards, code reviews, source control management, build
processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
