Air is seeking an experienced System Development Engineer (SysDE)
to guide the development of new features and infrastructure for our
drone software simulator. As a SysDE on our team, you will design,
build, and operate services and infrastructure that Prime Air
engineering teams use every day to develop, test, and release
software. This person must be comfortable working with a team of
top-notch engineers and scientists. We’re looking for people who

fun, and of course, make history! Key job responsibilities -
Design, build, and operate scalable AWS-based services and
infrastructure that support software development and testing across
Prime Air - Develop and improve simulation orchestration and
workflow systems used by engineering teams across the organization
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines,
and deployment tooling - Develop and maintain tooling that supports
verification, certification, and simulation-based testing campaigns
- Work closely with engineers across Prime Air who use
software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop simulation to
develop, test, and certify drone software - Participate in on-call
rotations and use operational metrics to drive service reliability
and continuous improvement - Participate in design and architecture
reviews for new services and simulation platform features -
Influence the team's technical strategy by identifying
opportunities to improve reliability, customer experience, and
operational efficiency Export Control License This position may
require a deemed export control license for compliance with
applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on
Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license
on your behalf. - Experience with Linux/Unix - Experience with
CI/CD pipelines build processes - Experience programming with at
least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang,
TypeScript, Ruby - Experience in networking, storage systems,
operating systems and hands-on systems engineering - Experience
designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and
scaling) of new and existing systems - Experience building services
using AWS products - Experience with distributed systems at scale -
Experience building tools for building, testing, releasing or

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
