Litigation Summer Law Clerk position in our Seattle, WA office. The
Position The Litigation Summer Law Clerk position is an excellent
opportunity for someone who is ambitious, focused and organized to
gain experience supporting a fast-paced team in a national law
firm. The Law Clerk will assist our lawyers in all facets of state
and federal civil litigation, including legal research, preparation
of first drafts of pleadings, motions, discovery requests and
responses, and reports, and involvement in strategy sessions. The
position requires 40 hours per week, in-person, at our Seattle
office. Responsibilities Conduct in-depth legal and factual
research to support active cases. Analyze legal and factual issues
to provide critical insights for case strategies. Review documents
for relevancy and legal issues, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Assist attorneys with discovery processes, trial preparation, and
trial-related tasks, gaining hands-on experience in litigation.
Collaborate with attorneys on drafting pleadings, motions,
discovery requests and responses, and case strategy discussions.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Currently enrolled as a
law student for the 2025-2026 academic year at an accredited law
school. Demonstrated experience or a strong interest in litigation
and trial practice. Familiarity with litigation processes is a
plus. Highly organized, goal-oriented, and efficient, with the
ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills with
meticulous attention to detail. Previous work in a professional,
fast-paced environment is preferred. A variety of factors are
considered in making compensation decisions, including but not
limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications,
geographic location, market demands, other business and
organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Final
salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other
reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered
full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k)
retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and
life insurance. Details of participation in these benefit plans
will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
