Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring a shipping/warehouse associate to join a busy manufacturing company in Sumas. The right person for this role would have excellent attendance, safety focused, production/shipping experience, and knows how to operate a forklift. If you are looking for a busy position to make extra money before summer, this position is for you! Starting Pay: $21.00/HR Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Position Type: Temporary Location: Sumas Required skills and abilities: -Adherence to all safety policies and procedures -Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills -Professional mannerism, a positive attitude and good communication skills -Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills -Strong attention to detail. -Basic math. -Minimum of I-year forklift experience required Duties to include but not limited to: -Assist with loading/unloading trucks (Flatbeds and dry vans). -Pulling product from warehouse racks to be stacked in the shipping yard. -General housekeeping and organization. -Staging products in preparation for future shipments. -Performing cycle counts of inventory. Physical requirements: -Must be able to operate, mount and dismount a forklift repeatedly throughout the shift. -Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
