Job Description Job Description General Summary The CA- Warehouse Associate assists with daily warehouse activities which include, but not limited to, processing inbound and outbound shipments, parts inventory management, daily reporting, pulling materials, packing boxes, loading trailers, etc. Primary / Key Essential Functions and Responsibilities Receive and unload trailers to stock inventory Accurately complete counts of incoming freight Operate material handling equipment to stack / unstack inventory Pull and stage orders for each carrier Perform order checks after staging Ensure orders are loaded correctly into trailers Manage all merchandise with appropriate care Other duties as assigned by the supervisor Education and/or Experience and Qualifications Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED Minimum Experience: One to three (3) years’ experience in a warehouse environment experience, pallet jack, shrink wrapping, standing long hours, heavy lifting. Basic PC skills Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to safely operate machinery such as: Forklift, Order Pickers, Clamp Trucks, Reach Lifts, Electric Pallet Jacks, Cardboard Baler, and Shrink Wrap machine. Able to multitask and time-management, with the ability to prioritize tasks Familiar with warehouse processes such as container receiving and rack loading. Picking out bound orders and accurately handle PO/set checks before trailer load Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments Ability to assist in training other warehouse associates Financial Responsibility n/a Management / Supervisory Authority n/a Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
