HOURLY WAGE: $19.34 Job Summary This position is a grant funded
temporary position that isfunded to run through May 31, 2021.This
position will be responsible for providing direct outreach, home
visitations, case management, and advocacy services to participants
of the Mason County Therapeutic Courts who have substance use
disorders and/or mental health disorders. Examples of DutiesFull

which may be found in positions of this class.) Perform case
management activities in a highly confidential and professional
manner. Manage a caseload of 15 --- 20 participants. Assist
participants in setting goals based on their individual needs, and
in identifying steps to achieve their goals; monitor progress.
Identify high-quality community providers and agencies whose
services are relevant to client needs. Provide outreach services to
engage and connect participants with the community agencies that
will help meet their needs and goals. Collect and enter data
online. Provide housing support/case management services.
Participate and/or supply weekly reports to the therapeutic court
team to evaluate participant---s progress. Participate in training.
Education and Experience Work effectively and efficiently with
little supervision, with the ability to manage time effectively and
prioritize and problem solve in crisis situations. Teamwork is
essential.Experience on issues/projects working with substance
abuse and/or mental illness or equivalent combination of education
and work experience.Strong communication skills.Ability to conduct
interviews covering extremely sensitive and confidential
issues.Strong organizational and time management skills.Experience
working with individuals with substance and/or mental illness.
Licenses, Certificates and Other Requirements A valid driver---s

Paid Leave --- Sick leave, holidays, and vacation are provided in
accordance with the County policy or union contracts. Vacation
accrual rates increase at regular intervals based on length of

County employees are enrolled in the Washington State Public
Employee---s Retirement System (PERS, PSERS or LEOFF). The County
and employees contribute jointly to the plans.
